Frequently Asked Questions:

Online Shop Updates

Online shop updates will occur 1 time per month. That is when I offer all of my new handcrafted designs, ready to sell and ship to you. The items shown in the photos are the exact items you will receive. All items are available on a first come, first serve basis. I cannot hold items without payment. Putting an item in your cart does not reserve it. Only checking out ensures you will get the item of your choice. You will receive an order confirmation when you've completed checking out. To ensure you get the items of your choice, please closely view the items during the preview period (12 hours prior to going live) and arrive in the shop prior to the scheduled update time. If you don’t see the Products page, it’s because I’ve disabled it while updating listings. It will come back before the preview period. If you miss out on an item, know that I am thankful for the support and am always making more! I am working hard to increase my volume of high quality, handcrafted products for those that are not interested in the popular mass produced products of our era.

Shipping

All in stock items ship within 1-7 business days via priority mail with tracking. Due to package theft, I insure most items. That price will be reflected in the total shipping cost.

Customs and Import Duties and Taxes

You are responsible for any customs and import duties and taxes that may apply. I am required to put the item value on the customs slip. I am not responsible for any delivery delays caused by customs.

Damages

I do my best to pack each item carefully to ensure a safe arrival, but pottery is fragile so sometimes things happen. If your item arrives broken, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the damage and the packaging to receive a refund or replacement.

Returns/Exchanges

I do not offer exchanges or returns. Please be sure to look at every listing photo, as no two products are the same. All pieces are photographed in bright natural light and unedited, to depict the colors as accurately as possible. Exterior glazes are often ‘crackled’. This is not a flaw, and will not affect the safe use or functionality of your piece. Because my pieces are hand made, they are not always perfectly symmetrical.

Care

Pottery is fragile and should be handled delicately. Do your best to avoid thermal shock. I advise hand washing your pieces with a soft sponge or cloth, and nothing abrasive, not even vigorous scrubbing with a sponge. Do your best not to stack pieces to avoid damaging them as well. All pieces are microwave safe except for pieces with resin and wood inlay handles. Please keep in mind that although safe, certain non resin wood handles do heat up a bit in the microwave.

Handle Materials Used

I use a variety of handle materials, including kiln dried, finished and unfinished, stabilized and dyed wood. I protect the wood with a waterproof, FDA approved food safe, poly protected material. I sometimes experiment with other handle materials, which are also sealed and protected against water and wear and tear.

How can I purchase your work?

I generally restock my shop every 4-6 weeks with new work. Shop update and restock announcements are sent out to email subscribers. Please subscribe if you’d like to be notified!

Can you hold or custom make a piece for me?

I’m not accepting custom orders at the moment. I do not offer holds or reserves.

Do you wholesale?

I am not able to offer my artisan work for wholesale at the moment.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Some countries may require customs or duty tax, so please be aware of your country’s policies. These duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Please note that once a package leaves my hands I am no longer responsible for it. I cannot be held accountable for packages lost in the mail. Thank goodness for shipping insurance!
